Buy Social For a Better World - Lost in Samsara

Buy Social For a Better World

Posted by Mariavittoria Scala on

As a social enterprise, we can only deliver our impact when customers, like you, choose to Buy Social, so thank you!

This year we are taking part in the Buy Social for a Better World campaign from 7-12th of October to celebrate the 100,000+ social enterprises in the UK and the people and organisations who support them.

It’s only because of people like you that we’ve been able to create more work for 14 artisans in Cambodia, planted almost 200 trees (and counting!) and recycled a massive half a tonne of materials!

We would love it if you’d join us in the celebration that week by giving us a shout out on social media. (You can also follow us so you can stay in the loop)

You can even take a photo of yourself with one of our products and share a message about why you’re proud to buy from us and support social enterprises. Feel free to use the sample content below (or write your own!):

  • We’re proud to buy from @LostinSamsara and help provide meaningful employment #BuySocial #socent
  • Through buying from social enterprises like @LostinSamsara – you can help build a better world, #BuySocial #socent

You can also go to www.socialenterprise.org.uk/buysocial to find out more about the campaign. Here you can learn about what it means to be a social enterprise, discover where to buy from other social enterprises, and find out about the exciting augmented reality (AR) experience that Social Enterprise UK and The Co-op are launching on 7th October, supported by Michael Sheen, Caitlin Moran, Chris Addison, and Sali Hughes!
