Oval Pine Needle Basket

The women in Guatemala who make this basket work with their children to search the hills around their village for the ideal pine needles. After they're dry, the artisans start the weaving process with a group of 5-10 pine needles to create a strong base. They keep wrapping a natural fibre tightly around the pine needles to connect them. This small oval basket features green highlights and can be used to store anything from sweets to coins to your car keys.
