The bow tie first entered the scene as a new style of necktie in the beginning of the 19th century; a modification of its predecessor, the cravat. By the mid 1880s, the bow tie had become a staple in the fashion conscious man’s wardrobe.

This is one is designed by Lost in Samsara and realised in social enterprise in Bangladesh. It is handmade using natural jute fiber which is 100% biodegradable and recyclable and perfectly reflects our commitment to create long-lasting, ecological and sustainable high-quality object.

• The making of their products provides work to more than 125 artisans  • The purchase of their crafts provides living wages, training, health care, legal aid and education programs like food nutrition, management and sewing skills. Also they have been able to provide school uniforms to over 500 children.
